SAFENEP collaborated with Ilam High Court Bar Association and Internet Governance Institute for a capacity building program on cyber crime and legal practice in Nepal, organized at Ilam. The Founding Chair of Safenep, Advocate Babu Ram Aryal, shared his knowledge and experience on the concept of cyber law its practice in Nepal. He highlighted the technical aspects if the cyber crime complaints, investing process and the court practice in Nepal.

At the event, Judge of Ilam District Court Hon. Dipak Dahal, had shared his perspectives and importance of the cyber law program. The President of the Ilam High Court Bar Association, Advocate Uttam Poudel presided the event. In the program, the stakeholders, legal practitioners of Jhapa, investigation officers under District Police Office Jhapa, etc. participated.
