SAFENEP collaborated with Nepal Bar Association, Jhapa and Internet Governance Institute for a capacity building program on cyber crime and legal practice in Nepal, organized at Chandragadhi, Jhapa. The Founding Chair of Safenep, Advocate Babu Ram Aryal, shared his knowledge and experience on the concept of cyber law its practice in Nepal. He highlighted the technical aspects if the cyber crime complaints, investing process and the court practice in Nepal.

At the event, Central Vice President of Nepal Bar Association Suraj Khatri, Judge of Jhapa District Court Hon. Chandramani Gyawali, had shared their perspectives and importance of the cyber law program. The President of the Nepal Bar Association, Jhapa, Advocate Narayan Prasad Bhattarai presided the event where the Vice President Advocate Bhim Prasad Baral had highlighted the purpose of the program. In the program, the stakeholders, legal practitioners of Jhapa, investigation officers under District Police Office Jhapa, etc. participated.

The Executive Committee Member of the Jhapa Bar Advocate, Lakshmi Prasad Sivakoti had conducted the proceeding.
